Pheasant Hunting Guides and Lodging Our lodge is located in the small, quiet town of Willow Lake, South Dakota (between Watertown and Huron), in the heartland of pheasant hunting. Dexter View Lodge is a charming, two-story, one hundred year old historic home that has three large bedrooms. Our location is within minutes of pheasant hunting country. Small groups are preferred to ensure a quality hunting experience. We offer the use of our pure-bred Elhew ( English ) pointers which have been trained especially for bird hunting. You may use our dogs or bring your own. This is a great place to train your dogs for pheasant hunting and let them have fun. We are located in the middle of the North American Flyway for migrating birds. Along with hunting game such as pheasants, geese, ducks, and doves, the area is also known for its population of white-tailed deer . For the fisherman, the lakes surrounding Willow Lake are abundant with a variety of fish. Regardless of the game you may be hunting for, Willow Lake, South Dakota is a great place to make new friends and have a great time while you are hunting.
